Viewing tips
- Nicollet Island lawn faces the launch barge directly.
- Stone Arch Bridge provides an elevated downstream view but closes at 90% capacity.
Transit and parking
- Metro Transit routes 3 and 25 reroute around the riverfront.
- Northstar Commuter Rail Big Lake line resumes at 10:30pm.
- Boom Island lots fill by 7pm; Plymouth Avenue overflow lot is the best fallback.
- East Hennepin Avenue closes between 1st Ave and the river starting 5pm.
