- Big Field at Dix Park is the official viewing lawn.
- Boylan Heights Avenue Bridge is the best free elevated view of the launch.
Transit and parking
- GoRaleigh routes 5 and 11 reroute around Dix Park from 4pm.
- Park-and-ride shuttles run from State Fairgrounds and PNC Arena.
- Avoid driving into the Boylan Heights neighborhood — residential parking only.
Safety notes
- Dix Park hills are uneven — bring a flashlight for the exit walk.
