Viewing tips
- Tropicana/Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo overpasses are the official public viewing areas.
- Resort pool decks (Caesars, Aria, MGM) sell tickets but capacity is locked from 6pm.
Transit and parking
- RTC Deuce buses run extended hours but slow to walking pace.
- Las Vegas Monorail runs continuously through 3am.
- Strip closes to vehicle traffic 6pm December 31 to 3am January 1.
- Park off-Strip (Linq garage, Sahara garage) and walk in.
Safety notes
- Backpacks and large bags are banned in the pedestrian zone — bring small clear bags.
- Alcohol sales transition to closed-container only after 8pm — open containers seized at the gate.
